My New Telecaster
I grew up in a house of 50+ guitars so it pretty hard to not play a guitar, although I was and alwasy will be a drummer playing guitar was like a silly little thing on the side, no pressure no desire to become great it was just to play and pass time.
I’ve alwasy loved the Telecaster, not becuase of it’s history but (I only realised it’s significants looking into this guitar) but becuse it was just a simple cool liking thing.
One day I was looking on marketplace and a $900AUD USA 2011 Tele popped up so I had to check it out, I told Sha’an and an hour later we were on a 3-4 hour drive to Canberra which sounded like a long time but honestly sitting in car with your love reading a new book aloud togteher was a treat and when finally arrived turns out this guy selling this guitar actually builds frankenstien guitars ripping necks off old guitars building his own creations. see pics

Studio Artifacts.
I’ve always been intruiged by the disconnect of tictile objects and the final output of image making, I create images that predominatly sit online somehwhere viewed thgouh a screen yet all of this is only possible with the use of large and often cumbersoome lighting rigs, flags, carts and big teams with vans of stuff yet there it is the final result viewed in someone palm.
I’ve always been someone who loves getting their hands dirty, playing in the mud, pulling apart VHS players or computers to find a motor or magnet that will entertain me for hours and I think this is a part of photography that’s often overlooked that I really do enjoy - creatively problem solving handware to execute visual resolution for software or 2D output.
Here are some small item that help me do this.
