Studio Artifacts.
I’ve always been intruiged by the disconnect of tictile objects and the final output of image making, I create images that predominatly sit online somehwhere viewed thgouh a screen yet all of this is only possible with the use of large and often cumbersoome lighting rigs, flags, carts and big teams with vans of stuff yet there it is the final result viewed in someone palm.
I’ve always been someone who loves getting their hands dirty, playing in the mud, pulling apart VHS players or computers to find a motor or magnet that will entertain me for hours and I think this is a part of photography that’s often overlooked that I really do enjoy - creatively problem solving handware to execute visual resolution for software or 2D output.
